HP G60-458DX Hewlett Packard Laptop Computer

The HP G60-458DX is a wonderful, feature-rich laptop computer made by Hewlett Packard. It sports an Intel Pentium mobile processor T4200, which has a quick 2.0gHz processor speed. It's got 4 gigabytes of DDR2 memory so you can multitask and use multiple programs at once. Also, the laptop includes a DVD+/-RW/CD-RW drive for recording DVD movies as well as CD-R's of music, photos and files.

The screen is a magnificent 15.6" high-definition TFT-LCD Widescreen. It features "BrightView" technology and 1366 x 768 resolution. As for graphics, the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD will offer up to 1759MB of video memory so you can enjoy all sorts of video, movies and other multimedia content.

In addition to all the above, you'll get 250 gigabytes of hard drive space to store all your music, data files, movies, photos and more. The laptop offers 3 USB 2.0 ports on the sides, as well as Built-in Wireless LAN (802.11b/g).

As for operating system, you'll be up to date as this laptop runs Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit with SP1 preloaded. That's the full-featured media version of Vista, which is great for movie-making, photo edits and much more.

What's really great is the computer is very light at just 6.6 pounds total weight, and it measures 1.7 inches thickness, making for a thin, highly-portable laptop!

The HP G60-458DX laptop is also ENERGY STAR qualified since it's designed to use less energy than other laptops. It meets the EPA's & US Department of Energy's strict energy efficiency guidelines as well.

HP DVD Play is simply Hewlett Packard's included software that allows users to view DVD movies on their laptop. An update as of 2008 allowed this software to play both Blu-Ray and HD DVD's.

The CyberLink DVD Suite program allows you to create, play and burn DVD's including high-def and blu-ray discs. Use this program to burn and backup data, watch DVD's (including Blu-ray) and edit your own movie videos!

muvee Reveal is a full-functioned moviemaking software, which allows you to edit movies to perfection. Adobe Acrobat Reader allows for the viewing, printing and collaboration on PDF files. Adobe's Acrobat Reader is touted as the only PDF file viewer that works with all PDF documents. PDF stands for Portable Document Format and was created in 1993 by Adobe Systems. These are documents that can be read across multiple computer types, platforms and operating systems.
